Point Guards
Luka Doncic (6'8", 230 lbs, 24 years old, Real Madrid) is the reigning MVP and the face of the franchise. He is a do-it-all playmaker who can score, rebound, and pass with equal ease. Spencer Dinwiddie (6'5", 220 lbs, 30 years old, Colorado) is a veteran point guard who brings a steady presence to the backcourt. He is a solid scorer and passer and is a good defender. Dinwiddie averaged 13.4 points and 5.3 assists per game last season with the Brooklyn Nets.
Shooting Guards
Tim Hardaway Jr. (6'6", 205 lbs, 31 years old, Michigan) is a veteran shooting guard who provides the Mavericks with a reliable scoring option. He is a good shooter and can also create his own shot. Hardaway averaged 15.5 points per game last season with the Mavericks. Josh Green (6'6", 210 lbs, 23 years old, Arizona) is a young shooting guard who is still developing. He is a good athlete and defender and has shown flashes of offensive potential. Green averaged 8.0 points per game last season with the Mavericks.
Power Forwards
Kristaps Porzingis (7'3", 240 lbs, 28 years old, Latvia) is a talented big man who is still trying to find his footing in Dallas. He is a good scorer and rebounder and can also block shots. Porzingis averaged 20.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game last season with the Mavericks. Dwight Powell (6'11", 240 lbs, 32 years old, Stanford) is a veteran power forward who provides the Mavericks with a solid all-around game. He is a good rebounder and defender and can also score in the post. Powell averaged 7.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last season with the Mavericks.
